Tapestry.
Tapestry is the award-winning civilization game for one to five players by Jamey Stegmaier. As you start in the beginning of mankind and reach into the future the paths you take will develop your own unique civilization.
Players choose whether to focus on a specific track for advancement or to balance their moves across a variety of paths. These advancement tracks focus on exploration, military, technology and science. You will start with nothing and as you advance can gain benefits to improve your income, build you capital city and leverage your asymmetric player powers. Your progression will allow you to earn victory points and collect essential tapestry cards that will ultimately tell the story of your civilization.

Editorial Reviews of Tapestry
Everything is next level here (as you’d expect for the pricetag); the board, the dice, the miniatures, the artwork on the cards and civ mats, the player boards, absolutely everything has been produced fantastically. It also has a really good automa version, which pits you up against a quite frankly brutal virtual opponent (1 win, 5 defeats against the second easiest difficulty!), so if you’re into solo gaming then I would also highly recommend this to you. - Read more at S vs J Board Games
The more games of Tapestry that I play, the more I’ve noticed a pattern. New players don’t do especially well (in general) because there are elements in the game that are, frankly, random and unwelcome. Similarly though, more experienced players tend to be able to either convert that randomness into opportunity more readily, or they simply know how to play around it by following one of several very successful strategies. - Read more at Big Boss Battle
